It is semi-final time and we're all working so hard on our dances in hopes that we make the finals. It's been a really long hard week and its only Friday! Gilles and I have been doing about seven hours a day in the studio and I think its going really well so far. We have the Salsa and the Waltz this week and I'm super excited about our music for these two dances.
Everyone was so shocked to see Kim eliminated. At this point in the competition it's shocking to see anyone eliminated. It would have been just as shocking to see Gilles, Melissa, Shawn or Ty leave on Tuesday. Kim and Derek will definitely be missed. She's such an amazing person and Derek is always a blast to have around but I don't think Tuesday night was the last anyone will see of him on the show this season. I think he has a pro dance or two that we'll get to see.
I finally got to plan my first vacation in a year! Well actually my boyfriend did. After the show is finished we will be heading out of the country for a nice relaxing tropical vacation. Lots of sun, swim and sleep if I have anything to say about it. While I don't want this season to end because I'm enjoying it so much, I have to say that I can't wait for that vacation!
