Another week and we're still in the competition! It's so sad to see someone voted off. Especially when it's someone I've grown to adore like Denise. She really is a wonderful woman and she and I got to know each other well so even though she's not going to be with me any more in the Red Room on Monday nights, I know that we'll be seeing a lot of each other.
Every week Gilles continues to impress me. He works so hard and makes it look easy. Which is not a simple thing to accomplish let me tell you! He's really one of the most talented celebs that we've ever had on the show and I feel so lucky to be paired with him.
Next up for us is Argentine Tango. While we do the Tango every season this is a style of Tango that not all of us pros are as well versed in. These new dance styles challenge us as much as they challenge the celebs because its not something we do all the time so we too have to refresh ourselves with the moves and the rules -- no lifts!
Can't wait 'til you see us dance on Monday -- I'm off to teach Gilles his Tango. Today is our first day of rehearsals so wish us luck and don't forget to vote!
