Ahh, the demise of Arrested Development. A series cancellation so widely devastating I'm surprised comedy fans didn't set themselves on fire in protest. I have to say, I considered it, but like Frankenstein's monster, I fear flames. Besides, that's what blogs are for. Two and a half years after the end of the brilliant series, I don't know one person who doesn't still miss the Bluths terribly, and here are just 10 of the many reasons why (with video!).
10: Gangy
The perpetually drunk, racist, scheming grandmother who can't wink we wish we had. She never did get that surprise party she didn't at all deserve!
9: The way they say "thing" instead of "container" or "bag."
Why can't Michael just eat a whole bag of jelly beans? Because this is Arrested Development, and around these parts one eats "an entire thing of candy beans" instead.
8: Wee Britain
Something as absurd as a miniature London in the "English part of Orange County" would probably seem a little over-reaching on another show, but, like a bowtie-clad seal biting off a major character's hand, Wee Britain made perfect sense on Arrested Development.
7: Prison Humor, or "No touching!"
From White Power Bill to conjugal visits gone awry to the immortal "No touching!" lines, George Sr.'s endless stints in prison provided some of the funniest scenes in the series. My favorite involves bees, and it is below.
6: Disasters like this, which occurred frequently:
5: Buster
Because who doesn't love a special needs thirty something with oedipal issues?
4: The Lawyers
Henry Winkler's Barry Zuckerkorn, Scott Baio's Bob Loblaw, John Michael Higgins' "professional" Wayne Jarvis and, just for the hell of it, Judge Reinhold. The revolving door of Bluth lawyers were all hilarious in their own special ways, though none were able to save the family from their own idiotic and illegal tendencies.
3: George Michael, the only sane one.
The most endearing sitcom character since Opie, George Michael was the shining voice of reason and innocence on a show populated by insanely greedy egomaniacs. Whom he loved dearly, because he just couldn't help himself. Aww!
2: The Chicken Dances
Michael once asked the question, "Has anyone in this family ever even seen a chicken?" As you can see, the answer is clearly no.
1: The Family Meetings
A meeting of the dysfunctional minds of epic proportions, the family meeting scenes brought out the funniest in each character. Tobias was always at his gayest, Lindsay at her sluttiest, Lucille at her most manipulative, and Buster at his most oblivious, to name a few. These scenes were the glue of each episode's plotlines, brilliantly setting in motion the insane antics to come.

Love the list but you left off the best of all the lawyers:
Michael's stint as Chereth Cutestory, Maritime Lawyer
"you're a crook, Captain Hook!..."
