Goofy '90s Teen Shows That Need Reunions

In his first year on the air, Jimmy Fallon has unsuccessfully tried to reunite the cast of Saved By the Bell, settling instead for some great appearances by its former stars - albeit individually. However, much to his credit, he did manage to get the entire original cast of California Dreams to be on his show this week and sing their catchy theme song. Since some of those SBtB divas are still holding out, here are some other cheesy nostalgic teen shows from the '90s that we'd like to see get back together on Jimmy's show.

Hey Dude
This half-hour show aired on Nickelodeon in the late '80s and into the '90s, so it counts for our purposes. The cast included Mrs. Ben Stiller (Christine Taylor) and a pre-Sabrina David Lascher, featured your typical teen scenarios (dating, crushes, jobs) and took place entirely at a horse ranch. If nothing else, we miss Brad and would really like to see her again.

Clarissa Explains It All
We all know what Melissa Joan Hart has been up to, but what about Sam? He was climbing into his opposite-gendered best friend's window long before Joey Potter did it. And we'd like to see annoying little brother Ferguson again, too! The parents... eh, not a requirement.

Kenan & Kel
It should be so easy to do this one. All Jimmy would have to do is walk downstairs and grab Kenan and then have him figure out where Kel has been hiding himself. Throw them in some Good Burger uniforms and we'd be happy.

Fifteen
Admittedly, getting the cast of this Canadian soap (also known as Hillside) back together might be a bit of a challenge, since it was a huge cast. But aside from Laura Harris (who has been a regular on Dead Like Me, 24 and Women's Murder Club) and Ryan Reynolds (who is known for Van Wilder and his highly toned stomach muscles), the rest haven't been quite as visible in the past two decades. Let's get them together and have them reenact some highly emotional scenes about alcohol abuse! It's all we've got since the show isn't on DVD.

Hang Time
Part of the TNBC Saturday morning lineup, this was one of those ridiculous shows about high school sports, with the twist being that a girl was on the boy's basketball team. The acting was overdone, the plots predictable, and yet we'd still like to get a look at the original cast... although Anthony Anderson and Jay Rodriquez joined later on, so if either of them wanted to drop by we wouldn't object.

Adventures of Pete & Pete
Again, it's only two people that we care about, so it shouldn't be a challenge for Fallon, and we'd be a little overwhelmed with nostalgia to see the two same-named brothers back together again.

We can, however, live without reunions of the other TNBC shows -- One World, All About Us or City Guys -- but if you've got other suggestions, leave 'em in the comments.

And if you missed the California Dreams reunion, check it out below.

The sad thing is that after not thinking about that show for 15 years I remembered every word of the theme song. I am so ashamed.

Also, Heidi Lenart is Haim Saban's step-daughter, which is why she's only ever in Saban productions and is pretty much the only reason why she has a career. I don't know why I know that.

I don't think she'll be hard to find, she was on celebrity rehab with Dr. Drew. Unfortunately, she became a porn star drug addict.

Boy Meets World
All That original cast
Clarissa Explains It All
Ghostwriter
Figure It Out
Fast Forward
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (sadly the original Yellow Ranger died)

Those were my favorite shows as a kid. I would kill to see a reunion of any of these.

I would vote for "You Can't Do That On Television" (yes I know, not from the 90's), but you would NEVER get Alanis Morissette to do it.

YES! I expect most people don't remember it because it didn't really have a plot, just random skits. I always enjoyed the dad character who loved his easy chair and remote control.
