Your Ash Wednesday viewing guide.
Make Me A Soap Opera: I have to confess, I was not initially onboard with Bravo's latest queerfest, Make Me A Supermodel. It was a little too boring and the hosts weren't working for me and maybe (dare I even speak it?) I was suffering from model fatigue. Thank God, then, for bisexual love triangles, butt-waxing, the sight of a couple straight dudes licking each other. I'm officially back in the fold. I may just end up watching the marathon this morning. Bravo, 10 AM
Still Not As Scary As Scientology: I know I just recommended Melrose Place yesterday, but today's episode features the kickoff to one of my all-time favorite plotlines: Traci Lords as Sydney's psycho cult-member roommate "Rikki." Truly, this was a golden age. SoapNet, 11 AM
You Thought You Were Finished: Hell no, dude. Flavor of Love is back for another season, and the casting special has already premiered. Catch it again this afternoon, then take a show. And then another one. VH1, 12 PM
Then Something To Feel Good About: Turner Classic Movies is running their month-long Oscar extravaganza, which means you get another chance to watch Citizen Kane. Don't just say you will and then watch What Not To Wear again. It's both good and good for you! TCM, 3:45 PM
Send In The CGI Wolves: It's not a good movie. It might not even be a good guilty pleasure. But it features the onscreen pairing of Jake Gyllenhaal and Austin Nichols, and for some people that's all you need. Plus, like I said, the CGI wolves. FX, 5:30 PM
This Just In: It Remains Awesome, Baby!: Super Bowl's finished. Pitcher and catchers haven't reported yet. Time for college hoops to shine! The Big East battles it out tonight with rapidly surging Connecticut traveling to beautiful Syracuse, NY. ESPN, 7 PM
Prime Time: American Idol dubiously boasts the "Best of the Rest" (FOX, 8 PM); America's Next Top Model lures you back with a best-of clip show (CW, 8 PM); Mad Men's January Jones shows up on Law & Order (NBC, 10 PM); and Project Runway features the WWE "Divas." That probably doesn't include the perfect combination of beauty and strength that is Beth Phoenix, The Glamazon (get some, Beth!), but you can't have everything (Bravo, 10 PM).
