It's Britney, bitch... and more celebs make fools of themselves
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER: Pop tart Britney Spears is trying to make a comeback... or something... by appearing on the Barney-licious comedy. This could be a huge disaster, or it could be kind of genius, either way this WILL be the show that has everyone buzzing tomorrow. (CBS, 8:30 PM)
DANCING WITH THE STARS: Those sadistic programmers over at ABC decided it would be good to give the wooden Adam Carolla a second chance to dance instead of letting him mercifully be gone after the first week. Maybe he'll have improved? Doubtful, but his two left feet will compete against the stiff Monica Seles and the pretty-but-gawky Shannon Elizabeth for title of worst of the week. (ABC, 8 PM)
TOP GEAR: Simon Cowell gets behind the wheel on this British import and shows off his need for speed. This show is just wacky, not Paula crazy, just bizarre and they talk a lot about how cars work and the drive on the other side of the road and well, I don't understand much of it, I'm just watching to see if Simon says anything snarky about Ryan. (BBCA, 8 PM)
GREEK: Yeah, it's totally cheesy. Yes, it's on ABC Family. No, it's not nearly as clever as Animal House or even Van Wilder, but it is sort of endearingly awful in its own little way. I've got an affinity for teen dramas and this one already has a season pass in my TiVo. And hey, the cute guy from quarterlife is in it, and at least you get to see him for more than one episode here. (ABC Family, 8 PM)
GOSSIP GIRL: And fine, if you want to watch like a "good" teen drama, The CW's reairing the episode where Serena has her debutante ball and trouble ensues. (CW, 8 PM)
