Your morning marathon: uh...um...okay, there's got to be something around...here, okay come on....oh, fine, watch the Tori & Dean (subtitle: "Inn Love") marathon and be hypnotized by Tori's face. (Oxygen, 10 AM)
I'm not entirely sure what the pull of watching the 112th Annual Boston Marathon on TV would be. Isn't the whole point of the Boston Marathon that you get out of work early and do something outside? Like, you say you're going to go watch the marathon but then you go to the Red Sox game? Isn't that the tradition we're working with? (Vs., 3:30 PM)
You've heard the rumors and they're true: tonight's How I Met Your Mother features the return of Robin Sparkles. She's joined, or so we hear, by some select Canadian guests, all of whom will no doubt be upstaged by the jean jackets. (CBS, 8:30 PM)
I have to admit, that "OMFG" ad campaign for the return of Gossip Girl has me excited for the show's return, to an unseemly degree. I believe we left the story with Blair's social standing in tatters, but honestly? Doesn't matter. OMFG! XOXO! BFF FAQ! (CW, 8 PM)
Can we talk about Audrina on The Hills for a moment? And how I secretly suspect that she's becoming friends with Heidi again because she's the one person in the universe who won't judge Audrina for going back to Justin-Bobby? Stop being pathetic, Audrina! And grow an upper lip! (MTV, 10 PM)
For every show in syndication that I follow for this blog, there are a few handful of episodes that I always check for, be they my personal favorite episodes (the "Office Olympics" episode of The Office) or else episodes that made a mark on pop culture ("The Contest" episode of Seinfeld). Tonight's Sex and the City episode is the one where Margaret Cho puts Carrie in a fashion show, Carrie pairs one of Pat Fields's more aggressively ridiculous ensembles with impossibly high-heeled boots, Carrie falls down on the runway, and the bald gay one is all "She's fashion roadkill!" You've seen the clip a billion times -- now try to sit through the entire episode! (TBS, 11:30 PM)
