More reasons why you should give up on dating . . .
If you're hoping to learn some lessons in comportment, you're probably better off sticking to ol' Emily Post. But if you want to see grown women transform from really trashy into marginally less trashy, check out the eight-plus hour Flavor of Love: Charm School marathon (MTV, 11:30 AM).
There are, like, sooooo many embarrassing parents out there you guys. So many, in fact, that the folks who brought us True Life -- I Have Embarrassing Parents had to do a sequel. True Life -- I Have Embarrassing Parents 2 (MTV 5 PM) airs tonight. Clearly it will be necessary to do a third installment, as I've not received word yet that a film crew has been dispatched to South Bend, Indiana, home to Ma and Pa Gittles.
Like lost causes? Tune into recently canceled vampire drama Moonlight (CBS, 9 pm) as it takes its dying breath and have yourself a good cry.
The titular Doctor Who (SciFi, 9 PM) gets a blast from the fairly recent past in the form of Martha Jones, his recently replaced traveling companion. Will she and the Doctor stop the invading Sontarans, with their elaborate plots and their weirdly shaped heads? More importantly, will she and the doc's new companion Donna Noble throw down or make out? Either way, Britain wins, and America comes in a close second. --Zach Oats
We've all had those spectacularly bad dates where the guy takes you back to his place and suggests a threesome with his life-sized Scooby Doo doll. Or insists on paying for dinner and then whips out a wallet full of fish scales and hair. Or goes to open your car door for you only to have his prosthetic arm fall off in the process. Right? Back me up here, people! THS Investigates Dating Nightmares (E! 8 pm) explores the world of really really really bad (like murderous) dates. So I can feel better about my own checked past. Snaps!
