Air Bud Lite!
Dogs will fly on Greatest American Dog (CBS, 8 PM) tonight! I'm serious! The episode is called "My Dog Can Fly!" Which, honestly, if they were really serious about looking for the greatest damn dog, why did it take them so long to bring out the flying ones?
Hey, America's Got Talent (NBC, 8 PM) sure is a show!
I thought I knew what HBO's new show True Blood was about, until I started seeing the White Zombie soundtracked disaster of a promo they keep showing. It's the loudest, vaguest, most confusing mess of a promo ever, which is why I'm going to catch Making Of: True Blood (HBO, 9:45) tonight. I need to sort this blood-sucking disorientation out!
Speaking of blood-sucking monsters, Rachel Zoe guests on Project Runway (Bravo, 9 PM) tonight.
Jean-Claude Van Damme may be an international joke now, but in my day Timecop (AMC, 10 PM) was an action experience! I was only 11 though, and mostly just excited to see an R-rated movie. But still, if you're 11 or under, prepare to have your mind blown!
As this crazy election heats up with conventions and smear campaigns and Madonna comparing people to Hitler and whatnot, Lewis Black's The Root of All Evil (Comedy Central, 10:30 PM) topically gets to the heart of the matter with a debate on Red States vs. Blue States. And all I know is that if you mix 'em, you get Purple States!
