Serial killers galore this weekend!
I adored Sweeney Todd (8 pm, Saturday, HBO) as a Broadway musical, and then loved it even more in the creepy, creepy hands of Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, and Helena Bonham Carter.
There are two series premieres on Sunday: Ruby (8 pm, Sunday, E! Style) and Summer Heights High (10:30 pm, Sunday, HBO). One's about an overweight woman, the other features awkward high schoolers. Both probably got picked on a lot.
Dexter (9 pm, Sunday, Showtime) continues ask, "How much can you love a psychopath?" (The answer is: a lot.) This week he and his revenge seeking "partner" get into a fight.
And Family Guy (9 pm Fox) has Johnny Knoxville as himself. Yay?
'Cause I'm a huge history dork, I'll be watching Crash: The Next Great Depression (10 pm, Sunday, History Channel). It will either reassure or terrify.
