"Lapidus!"
The return of Lost (ABC, 8 PM) is nigh and ABC is taking it really seriously. Like, reserve three hours of weeknight primetime for a rerun seriously. No joke! The three-hour Season 4 finale is airing tonight in an "enhanced" form. Remember to drink every time someone shouts "Lapidus!" for me.
American Idol (Fox, 8 PM) is on again for two damn hours, of course. Get used to it.
Make 'em Laugh: The Funny Business of America (PBS, 8 PM) is a PBS-y look at the history of the past 100 years of comedy in this joint (America). As Lauren discovered recently, it contains Amy Sedaris, and anything Amy Sedaris does should be watched.
TCM is airing the Billy Wilder classic The Apartment (TCM, 8 PM) tonight, so if you haven't seen it in a while you can rediscover what Joan Holloway was so shaken up about. Because Mad Men is basically never coming back.
I know some people out there found last week's Damages (FX, 10 PM) premiere a little boring, but I've seen tonight's episode and I promise you it's going to start picking up from now on. Just take my word for it.
Haaaaaaahahaha they have to go hang out at a farm on this week's Top Chef (Bravo, 10 PM). Can you imagine? Tom and Padma? On a farm? With cows and chickens and tractors and stuff? This is gonna be great.
