BLOGS
I already shared my thoughts on this show the other day, and not much has really changed, except that Mindy told me a silly story about Ryan Hansen at SXSW and now for his sake I hope that the show does well. Because, well, he seems like a nice guy and employment is good in this day and age and lord only knows what is going to happen with that Gossip Girl spinoff.
Anyway, tonight's episode is the one that has Jason Dohring and Alona Tal who are members of an upscale and uptight group of future movers and shakers (upon looking it up, the Party Down team is hosting an even for the California College Conservative Union Caucus). All you need to know is that Jason looks like a prep-schooler in a suit and very over-styled hair, and Alona is his girlfriend. There's the secretary of this organization who looks like a young Jack Black, and he is all freaked out for Ah-nold's visit. Somehow this devolves into Ken Marino desecrating a flag, which is fantastic. And Jane Lynch's Constance being all nutty and defending human rights even when they didn't need defending.
I personally found this episode to be a lot more entertaining than the premiere, though still not a laugh riot. But I'll surely keep watching. It's not like there's a lot to do on Friday nights at 10:30 now that Battlestar is over.
