...Probably due to a rise in, well, action. I mean, the show is based on a film series that is kinda-sorta-just-a-little-bit one of the most beloved sci-fi action franchises in movie history. So it makes sense that viewers would, you know, prefer it when robots kick ass as opposed to when they just talk and fight vending machines. An increase in explosions and people getting shot has probably also helped: in the last few episodes we've seen three semi-major character deaths, an appearance from the T-1000, a shootout at the lighthouse, and Sarah defibrillating a tracking chip out of her own breast (ouch) before defibrillating someone's head (awesome!). So it looks like things are on the rise for our favorite band of future-Messiahs and killer robots -- assuming they get picked up for a third season.
