I've been a huge, quote-every-episode, dress-up-like-Clemmy-for-Halloween, psychotic Reno 911! fan since the show began, and while I've definitely been enjoying this season and the addition of Joe Lo Truglio and Ian Roberts so far, I'm still pretty distraught over the firing of Clemmy, Garcia and Kimball (the actors, anyway; the characters are dead). The show is still really funny and I'm going to remain loyal to it, but I think it's messed up to just fire three major cast members with no warning or explanation to the fans (aside from reluctant posts on Wendi Mclendon-Covey and Carlos Alazraqui's official sites that they were fired via email, of all methods), and I haven't really had a place to say that on the site until now. So, it's disappointing and sad, and I think it's a huge mistake story-wise, but I'm still going to keep watching. Best of luck to all three of them. Now, on to tonight's episode.
Dangle's having a murder mystery party! See what I mean? I can't quit this show when things like Dangle hosting a murder mystery dinner are happening! This is going to be great! That won't stop me from missing how much Clemmy would have rocked the slutty French maid suspect role, however. They're never going to fill the Clemmy void, no matter how many UCB and State alums they try to replace her with. Aaaand now I'm sad again. It's a vicious circle with this show now.

I totally agree! Kimball I could take or leave but I didn't think I'd miss Clemmy n Garcia as much as I do! I haven't been all that impressed with the first couple of episodes but I know tonight is just going to kick ass. Anything that involes Dangle and his infatuation with all things theatre and performance is sure to be high-larious
"I think that rules were made to be broken and I think that everybody should have sex with as many people as they possibly can. You only go around once in this life, and as long as everybody takes a shower, I don't know what the big deal is."-- RIP Clemmy... I miss you!
EMAIL? EMAIL! They were fired by email?!?!? That's cold!! If they can treat their actors like that, I'm done with this show.
The way it was "explained" in the first episode when Dangle mentions thinking they were going to be cancelled made me think that the 3 might have had other contractual obligations and couldnt come back. To hear that they were fired is a dagger. I for one, dont care for the new additions and miss Clemmy, Kimball and Garcia as well. I mean, no more Kenny Rogers daydream fantasies??? Come on!
I think that was really cheap. Carlos and Wendi had been there from the beginning, and firing them by an email is so disrespectful. They could have at least done it in person.
Mary Birdsong (Kimball) actually left because she got a role in Hairspray on Broadway. Good for her; I don't think Kimball really found her footing.
Personally, I think the show is losing its touch; regardless of the new cast. They give all the best lines to Dangle & Weigl, and I'm so sick of her. Before, she was naive and silly, now she's just obnoxious.
I loved Garcia; he and Jones had great chemistry. But I'll miss all three of them.
The murder mystery episode is the best of the new cast, but would be considered one of the worst ones compared to other seasons. The new guys would have worked well if they had the crutch of the old cast. I agree that Weigl is obnoxious now, instead of her strong point of being silly and naive
It's been difficult for me to watch this season. Every time either Dangle, Junior or Weigel appear on the screen, I'm instantly reminded that those 3 fired the other 3.
It just kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth about the show now.
