BLOGS
It is the end of the first season of this new Fox series, or at least the last episode of this season that will air on Fox (one other episode will collect dust until the DVD release), and while it started out pretty rough it got a little better and improved along the way to last week's episode. But it still isn't quite the show that this particular Joss Whedon fan was hoping for. It's getting slightly more interesting with the introduction of Alpha (played awesomely by Alan Tudyk), but boy, episodes like the one with the horses, are just hard to sit through. It is still up in the air on whether this show is coming back next fall, and I'm on the fence about it myself. There are a bunch of save Dollhouse campaigns out there, that I've resisted joining, but if I could get some sort of agreement that we'd get more of the twisted Alan Tudyk (or characters messed up like Alpha), I'd be more inclined to sign on.
If you haven't been watching, check out last week's episode below.

I agree...there wasn't really a sense of danger until Alpha's appearance. The show would bring up something sinister, and then drop it. With Alpha finally more in the picture they have, not only a villain, but a villain they created. Makes it more interesting than just Echo's task of the week.
I also agree. I like it, but I don't love it. I think I'll keep watching if it gets renewed, but I won't be crushed if it's cancelled.
