It's the season finale of Scrubs, which was supposed to be the series finale and is even titled "My Finale" and might even answer the most pressing question of the series. No, not "will J.D. and Elliot live happily ever after together?", but instead "what the hell is the Janitor's real name?" Seriously. This is more exciting than finding out Mr. Big's true identity.
I'll admit that I've been sporadically watching this season. While I used to adore this show, it has fallen off my must-see radar, but it is still in my must-DVR list, so I've got a bunch collected that I'll get around to watching during the doldrums of the summer. But tonight's finale brings back lots of familiar Sacred Heart faces (over 50 former guest stars)... which is a treat for longtime fans and was written and directed by series creator Bill Lawrence, so that's got a lot of potential. It should be a great episode, but the whole thing seems overshadowed by the rumored possibility of another season. A season which would likely be without many of the leads and focus on new doctors since most of the old stars are without contracts to return and are already moving on. So this is a finale for them at least... if not for the show itself.
So tune in to ABC at 8 PM tonight to see J.D. as he says goodbye to Sacred Heart, and we hopefully find out what else we can call the Janitor.
If Scrubs isn't your cup of team find out what else to watch in our Week in Preview.

I think it is time for Scrubs to move on. J.D. is no longer the fresh-faced young doctor. He is experienced and many of the pranky stuff and voiceovers sound dumb now.
