The much buzzed about Fashion Show starts tonight, and I'm actually excited. 1. Because I have a hard time resisting any competitive reality shows (seriously, it is a problem). 2. Because I love Isaac Mizrahi. He's just so adorable, and I think it is great that he does a cute/cheap line of clothing for Target. 3. It might keep me from watching Taking the Stage at 10 PM on Thursdays.
Wannabe designers are competing for a chance to get their designs actually sold on the retail market. While I doubt that I'll actually be buying any of these items, it is nice that someone who wants to be actually fashionable could, if they were into that sort of thing. Plus, I'm excited to see the wild and crazy designs that people could come up with and judging by the bios, Johnny R. is going to be my favorite. Check out the videos below for more of a preview.

Isaac no longer designs for Target. He's with Liz Claiborne now.
Anyhoo, I'm excited for this show as well. I think Isaac's appearance on The Today show yesterday wearing orange shoes completely tipped me over the edge. Can't wait.
I love reality TV shows that involve something the contestants actually DO, like create clothes, instead of stuff they stand there thinking about, like modeling clothes. And as a bonus, no freaky food challenges!
