It started out a little slow and stumbled a bit along the way, but over the course of its first season Fringe has really turned out to be a great show. So much happened last week alone -- something terrible is coming! Walter has willingly run off with The Observer! Somebody shot or tranqued (probably tranqued, let's be real) Nina Sharp! That annoying Agent Harass storyline has finally been eliminated! Olivia's hair continued to be astonishingly shiny! All intriguing things. And tonight all of that will be addressed and we will finally meet Massive Dynamic's HBIC William Bell, played by the great Leonard Nimoy (who is just blowing up right now) to boot. Plus that scary German genius who made Olivia take that Lite Brite test is back tonight to cause more trouble, and somebody "close to the Fringe division" is going to get attacked. I hope it's not Gene! Or poor little Astrid. She's been through enough what with the hypodermic syringe in the neck and the fetching candy for Walter all the time. Anyway, that is so much stuff! I can't believe it's only a 60-minute finale; this thing is going to be action-packed. Sadly, I don't think that leaves room for a monster-of-the-week, but that's what DVDs are for, I guess.
Oh, and the extra super nice thing about this finale? It's just a season finale. The show has been renewed, so we don't have to be all weepy during the episode and can all just enjoy the evil corporate Spock in peace. Huzzah! And, as always, if you're DVR-ing it remember to record the 10 o'clock news as well -- Idol always ruins the end of Fringe!

It's Fringe day! Yay! I very excited for the finale. I've thoroughly enjoyed the show so far and am THRILLED that Fox wised up and renewed it. Leonard Nimoy is just icing on the cake.
I couldn't get into Fringe at first but I went back and tried again after a dozen or so episodes and that time I just got hooked. A brilliant new show; fun, crazy, interesting, it has it all. Almost.
i hate how borky American Idol makes my dvr-ing of this show! thanks for the suggestion...it also messes up my LOST DVR-ing since lost goes to like 10:02 for some god awful reason! what to do then where there are conflicts! Gah! loves the Fringe and am glad it got picked up...
