Season 3 ended with serial killer Mr. Ying Yang toying with Shawn's head by leaving clues from Shawn's past that would save a young woman's life. But it obviously didn't mess with Shawn completely, because he still found the time to rekindle an old-school romance with none other than Rachael Leigh Cook, simultaneously ignoring and destroying the undeniable love between him and junior detective Jules O'Hara.

But there's still hope, because I'm positive that season four won't disappoint. For starters, the premiere begins with some vacation time in Canada, and Shawn, with his awesome observation skills and photographic memory and his equally awesome sidekick Gus, track down an international art thief pretentiously named Despereux, who has eluded head detective Lassiter for years and is played by none other than Cary Elwes. There will be more guest stars throughout the season, including John Cena and Sendhil Ramamurthy, but what I really want to know is whether Shawn and O'Hara will live happily ever after back in sunny California.
