But back to the business at hand. Rick Bayless has proven to be a brilliantly talented chef and lovely person, but I remain steadfastly in Hubert Keller's corner. I honestly think he's the best chef there, all-around, and he's been the most compelling and likable contestant to watch all season (yes, even more than Art Smith and my second favorite, Mark Peel). Rick is tough competition, though, so really I'll be happy with either of them taking Top Chef Master. If Michael wins, however, you will be hearing from me in the Telefile. Loud and clear.

As an added bonus, Tom and Padma are back to judge, as are all the previous Top Chef winners, which means that culinary piece of adorably dorky sexiness Harold Dieterle will be on your screen, ladies (and certain gentlemen! And excluding certain ladies who do not prefer gentleman, I just realized!).
