I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for in a television show, but I'm pretty sure that it isn't this. I enjoyed the heck out of The Witches of Eastwick when I was younger, but it's already had one failed attempt at a TV version, so I'm not sure why they felt the need to try again. I like Rebecca Romijn probably as much, if not more, than the next girl (I sat through every single episode of Pepper Dennis), but this one is going to be tough for me. She's perfectly fine on this show, but the characters are terribly written. I don't particularly care for either of the other female leads, showkiller Lindsay Price (late of Cashmere Mafia) or Jamie Ray Newman (who has been driving me crazy on Eureka), but I know that they do have their loyal fans. Still, the show is a bit blah after the first episode, and given that the subject matter being dealt with is witches and the devil, you'd think it'd be more exciting.
Instead, it is sort of a Desperate Housewives wannabe that just happens to feature three women with special magical abilities, like Charmed. If the dialogue were better, or even the guy playing Darryl Van Horne were more intimidating, I'd be a little more optimistic that it would get better. Sadly, my longstanding love of Paul Gross from his days on Slings and Arrows isn't enough to warrant my making a return visit to Eastwick. Neither is the promise of seeing now belly buttoned stomach muscles of Kyle XY's Matt Dallas, who is Romijn's boy toy on the show, or watching the quirky Sara Rue, who really should have had a better career.
Still, I suppose something wicked this way comes, or whatever, but I really hope that doesn't plan on staying for very long.
If you are a glutton for punishment, or a die hard fan of the movie with an avid curiosity, the show airs at at 10 PM on ABC, but there are other options.

Lindsay Price was on Lipstick Jungle, not Cashmere Mafia.
I don't know if Lindsay Price can be classified as a true "Showkiller" since she's been more a victim of bad scripts/choices, than actually responsible for their demise.
I mean, did she really drag the USA "Coupling" down any further than it dragged itself by sucking as hard as it did? She was capable in "Jungle", but the show just wasn't terribly interesting, either.
I think the reason Eastwick fails as a tv show is because people look at it as if it needs to be just like the movie. HELLO it isn't no one can re-create the original and why would you want to. I think they are just trying to take the premise of the Witches of eastwick and create a fun, sexually charged and dare I say it well acted nighttime drama. It is doomed to failure if people like you are tuning in expecting to see a remake of the original film. I find it to be a great distraction from my normal life and enjoy watching Paul Gross as the devil. Finally with all the crime drama's on tv isn't it a good thing that ABC is bringing a bit of comic relief to Dramatic television. Come on everyone give you head a shake and tune in for more then 1 episode because its worth watching.
