It seems Robin is suspicious of Barney's long absences, and assumes he's cheating on her, but in fact he's trying to learn how to make her happy. (Lesson one: learn to deal with her inconsistently written attitude toward strip clubs.) The episode looks pretty fantastic, with Ted actually standing at the front of a classroom (is it his Columbia digs? Not sure) with a slideshow of Robin's moods and expressions. NPH plays the class clown in the otherwise empty lecture hall, which makes it harder for him to blame his outbursts on others. He even Twitters about Ted while class is in session, and Twitter jokes are still funny to me, just because they haven't gotten old yet, as they inevitably will.
