I guess since The Rachel Zoe Project is off the air and I somehow feel compelled to watch almost every competition reality show that is on, I will be giving the latest MTV offering a try. Basically, it's like Stylista (as a basis of comparison for the five people who watched that show), except that instead of competing for a job working on a magazine, you are working as a stylist doing shoots for magazines and the like.
I watched the trailer on MTV, and I think I already hate all the wannabes, but it looks like the mentor-y types are pretty mean, so that could be good. And MTV does find a way to suck me in, and there are pretty celebrity types to look at. I always wonder if they feel like they are getting the short-shift in these scenarios being dressed by idiots for a few minutes of screentime, or if they are just happy for the free publicity. Probably the latter, but I'd still be annoyed if I paid a styling agency and someone tried to dress me funny.
Styl'd (which is already driving me crazy with its apostrophe) debuts at 10 PM on MTV... and subsequently airs a million times later in the week. Like all other MTV programming.

The mean stylist lady has styled Angelina Jolie. Remember the black Madame X dress with the ginormous emeralds at the Oscars? That was mean lady stylist's doing. She is the only reason I'm giving this show a shot.
