I'm going to take a rare break from squeeing about Jersey Shore right now and talk about tonight's airing of the annual SNL holiday special. It's a great tradition, filled with Schweddy Balls, "I'm Gumby, dammit!" and the greatest Christmas jam of all, "I Wish It Was Christmas Today-ay," but this year they're just going crazy and having Kristen Wiig's Gilly character host the event as well. Personally, I love Gilly -- and Will Forte's work in those sketches in particular -- but so many people hate that character! Are they nuts? Clearly, they are. And I like it. Merry Christmas, dammit! It's SNL holiday special day!
