This show aired in the UK and caused a bit of a stir there, and now its crossed the pond to air on BBC America. While the name of the show seems a bit offensive, or at least off-putting, it seems like a fascinating idea. Having models with disabilities (from hearing loss, to being wheelchair-bound to having prosthetic limbs) competing for a contract seems like a good way to get some unexpected new faces into the modeling world, and is probably easier than Tyra trying to convince the world that short girls can walk the runway as much as leggy girls. In fact, Tyra would probably be gaga over all of the inspirational backstories that come with these eight lovely young ladies. I actually wouldn't be shocked if Tyra tries to do this or something similar in Cycle 15, though given the way she spent the whole Cycle 13 telling the short girls that they need to look taller, lord only knows what she'd do here.
Instead, the BBC show seems to celebrate the fact that the girls don't look like your typical Victoria's Secret pinups and shedding light on models who might otherwise go unnoticed. Plus, it has the added bonus of us not having to hear Super Smize and the equally certifiable Miss Jay.
Check it out tonight on BBC America at 9 PM ET. Or check out our Week in Preview for other options.

This is certain to turn the fashion world on its ear and make it stop using skinny Amazons with all of their limbs. They're building accessible catwalks even as we speak.
