Tuesday, February 2, 2010: Lost

Tuesday, February 2, 2010: Lost Have you guys seen this Lost show? It is pretty good! Some people are even excited about it coming back! I honestly have no idea what to say about Lost's final season starting tonight. It's like the anticipation is so huge I can't even put it into words. Like, the English language probably needs a new word for this feeling, like how the Greeks have 17 different words for "love" or whatever.

Anyway, obviously we didn't get a screener for tonight's premiere, so I can't tell you anything, except that the episode is called "LA X," but you knew that already. Why am I even talking? I can't tell you what to do on final season of Lost premiere day. It's like how you can't tell anyone how to grieve or something. I'm just going to shutup and put my Dharma cupcakes in the fridge right now and leave you to it. Happy Lost premiere day, everybody!

ABC has one of those "Welcome to Lost, n00bs!" episodes on at 8 PM, followed by the real, two-hour premiere at 9, which is when you'll want to tune in. I would throw you to our Week in Preview right now, but you're not going to watch anything else tonight so I won't (but I did).

Read an in-depth interview with Nestor Carbonell, a.k.a. Lost's mysterious Richard Alpert.

Watch TWoP's editors discuss why Lost is one of TV's all-time greatest shows in this segment airing on the New York Nonstop cable news channel:

If I'm not mistaken, the customary word you were searching for in the first paragraph is "squee".

An example from personal experience: "Squee! The BSG finale is tonight! All the mysteries will be explained to my full intellectual and emotional satisfaction!"

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.
