As for Ellen DeGeneres's first appearance, I've got a bit of a morbid curiosity about it. I know it's probably going to be terrible and she's just going to crack jokes and try and be witty, but I have to see it with my own eyes to be sure. She might surprise me, but then again, she already did the jokey judge thing on So You Think You Can Dance, so I'm quite doubtful. But hey, that group shot has to bode well, right? They all look so chummy (and by chummy I mean Photoshopped and/or forced to stand together at the world's most awkward shoot and smile somewhat politely).

Hollywood Week also means groups of singers staying up all night and then yelling at each other and at least one person losing their voice or deciding to go to bed early. Oh, I'm practically tingling with anticipation!
