If you've ever wanted to know more about Lisa Kudrow's background, tune in tonight to find out. I'm not against people seeking out their family roots and learning where they came from. In fact, I think it's kind of cool. Personally, I don't have the energy for it, but I do especially like it when people dig up old murderers or criminals. However, I don't particularly care enough to watch an hour on one person's search. I've tried watching a couple episodes of this now, and I keep zoning out.
That said, tonight's episode does actually sound interesting. Kudrow has a great-grandmother who died in the Holocaust and there's some mysterious circumstances around it involving a young soldier boy. At least Lisa traveling to Belarus to examine her heritage has a bit more gravitas than Jessica Simpson riding on an elephant and giggling in front of a Buddhist monk... so that's something.
Who Do You Think You Are? airs tonight at 8 PM on NBC.

Hee! Yes, but probably a lot of things would have more gravitas than that did. I really enjoyed SJP's episode, tho, and Emmitt's was also interesting. Wish I'd known to catch the PBS version.
The PBS version is superior, and is available to view on pbs.org.
