There doesn't seem to be a theme this season, like "short gals" or "anorexia," but there is a new judge: Andre Leon Talley, an editor-at-large for Vogue. Miss J. will move from the judges' table to a mentoring role, but Mr. Jay will still work the photo shoots and Nigel will still judge and leer. The rotating judge spot includes a bevy of fashion notables (as usual), including Ann Shoket (as usual), but also actress Sarah McLeod, who played the hobbit Rosie Cotton in The Lord of the Rings movies. We can't think of any reason she would be up there, unless the end of the season will bring the models to scenic New Zealand, where there'd better be a hobbit-themed photo challenge.
