Bad news, Christopher Chance fans -- there's a "chance" that Human Target may be cancelled. The 12th and final episode of Season 1 airs tonight, and we imagine it needs to do pretty well to save the show from Fox's hit list. Luckily, it's going out with guns blazing, both figuratively and (we assume) literally, so maybe one shot will get lucky and kill whoever at Fox is in charge of making sound financial decisions. (This show must be pretty expensive to make, what with all the explosions and a new set every week.) But seriously, the finale looks pretty awesome, with two pretty sweet guest stars and secrets, secrets, secrets! Uh... revealed, revealed, revealed!
You know how Chance has been talking about his old boss this whole season, and has been hinting that he's a bit of an A-hole? Well, he's actually a double-A-hole, because he's played by Armand freaking Assante! Following up on an awesome guest role on Chuck, the '80s and '90s action star plays Joubert, the man who wants to re-hire Christopher Chance, or whatever his real name is. I doubt we find out his real name tonight, but we do find out how he, Winston and Guerrero first met via what I'm sure will be a lot of flashbacks. And in case you thought this meant there would be no damsel in distress this episode, rest assured that they pulled out the big guns for that, too. The love interest in this episode is actually a triple-A-hole: Amy Acker from Angel! (Uh, and Dollhouse!) Armand Assante and Amy Acker? Talk about your A-list actors! No, really, they must have been going alphabetically.

It also has Lee Majors guest-starring! Damn HUMAN TARGET is not the best, but I like this show! I would like to see a second season! It's better than lots of other stuff on Fox!!!
I love this show and I'm crossing my fingers that it gets renewed, especially with so much left up in the air. I love the main three and the dynamic they have; it's very reminiscent of The Sentinel. The Vancouver setting helps there, too :-)
Definitely want to see more.
Oh no! I just discovered this show a few weeks ago, so this will only be my third episode. I really like it a lot and I hope Fox lets it stick around! Jackie Earle Haley is incredible, and Chi McBride and Mark Valley are also great. Come on, Fox!
LOVE this show. I'll be pretty bummed if it doesn't make it.
Not the greatest written show but I love the lead actors and think it has plenty of potential. Much better than a lot of shows that have run for years.
Also it's bad enough that Mark's marriage is over. Please don't cancel his show too, Fox!

I really love this show and the finally was great. I do hope they don't cancel, but Fox has a huge habit of canceling shows I fall in love with. Heart breakers!
I agree...Let's hope they keep this going. They just don't work to give a decent show a chance! There's so much crap on t.v. that NEVER seems to go away.
