So Jack's gone completely bananas on his Renee Walker vengeance spree, and this is not just a season finale -- it's a series finale, which means it's just gonna be a bloodbath. The Russian president is obviously dead meat, as is Logan, I would bet, and if they weren't trying so hard to make a movie happen I'd say Chloe would kill Jack to put him down. It's hard for me to see how letting Jack Bauer live makes any sense, but I guess they'll find a way. Because when has 24 ever not made sense? Oh, all the time? All the time it makes no sense? Crap.

Just kidding! I'm very excited for the finale and I will miss Jack Bauer and 24 something fierce. I just hope one day is long enough for my tear ducts to recuperate after Lost's finale, but Jack has recovered from gun shots and stab wounds in less than 24 hours lots of times, so at least I have a good role model (Jack Bauer is nothing if not an excellent role model, I think most people agree).

The two-hour 24 finale airs on Fox tonight at 8 PM, opposite Dancing With the Stars (ABC at 8), The Bachelorette premiere (ABC at 9), the two-hour Chuck finale (NBC at 8) and the season finales of HIMYM (CBS at 8) and The Big Bang Theory (CBS at 9:30).
