Good news, everybody! VH1 has come up with yet another way to exploit expecting young parents, but this time, there's a twist: We're only supposed to hate the dads, not just the moms!
The trailer for Dad Camp is super dramatic, though I'm sure it matches both the intensity of the show's mood and the extreme emotions brewing inside of the fathers-to-be. Seriously, these guys are so angry! They have drug issues, commitment issues, and daddy issues. I'm sure it won't take long until they all punch something!
Look, I love Teen Mom, 16 and Pregnant and all that jazz, so I know I'm not above Dad Camp. And to the show's credit, the premise made me think of that episode of Arrested Development where Lucille says to Michael that it's not her fault that she was a bad mother, because it's not as if there's a manual on parenting, and then the narrator VOs that there are actually hundreds of manuals on parenting, easily available for purchase on Amazon.com. Also on the bright side, even though I have no idea who Dr. Jeff is, I already like him way more than Dr. Drew.
Dad Camp premieres tonight at 10:30 on VH1, sandwiched between Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It and Tough Love Couples. And if you also hate Dr. Drew, be sure to read our takedown of him!

Great news, kids! It's now easier than ever to get on television! Ugh. You know anyone stupid enough to be on a show like this is stupid enough to get pregnant deliberately JUST SO they can be on shows like this.
If you'd ever seen any of these (awesome!) trashreality shows, you'd know that you're severely overestimating the people on them.
I blame "Real World: Las Vegas". That season marked the beginning of MTV's decline into trashdom.
I agree with the way law enforcement handled the situation very professional. He could have let it to become uncontrollable and taken out the taser, but he thought otherwise - however, he remained cool in what seems to be a very hostile area for a white policeman. it was not a black or white thing, but every some people wants it to be. Those girls were in the wrong - black, white, asian, male or female, teen, adult. whatever
