BLOGS
There are certain things that make me feel old: Kids with iPhones, complaining about the high noise levels on planes, enjoying prune juice, Justin Beiber, and the promos for MTV's latest Jackass-type reality show, The Dudesons In America.
Now, don't get me wrong! Remember this Simpsons clip? That was me at one time; I used to love all things Johnny Knoxville (especially when he got cover spreads in my teenybopper magazines -- meow!). But based on the trailers, this crazy team of four Finnish best friends will probably prove to be too much for me and my college-educated, now-granny stomach.
For those of you who can still find joy in watching a grown man break his legs, watch the series premiere of The Dudesons In America tonight at 10 PM on MTV.

How is a stomach college educated?
I'm from Finland and I guess I should be proud that a Finnish show makes it in the US but... eh.
I've never liked this kind of humor. I'm not necessarily against it, but it'd be better if it was a new thing, not a "Finnish version of Jackass". I'm not well enough versed in the genre to know the subtle nuance, but that's how it reads to me.
I know what you mean. I'm 20 now, and when Jackass first started, I was too young to watch it. Years later I got really into it. Now I still enjoy it once in a while, but the mature side of me must have killed off some of the Jackass side. I'm glad Knoxville and Tremaine get to do what they do best with the Dudesons, but my television viewing schedule wont revolve around this.
