There are two types of child prodigies. The first is the sad kind, such as the world's strongest boy Richard Sandrak or that two year old who smokes 40 cigarettes a day, whose stories are really depressing and shocking. The other kind of prodigies, however, are awesome.

I'm talking, of course, about the super smart kids like that baby who's really good at geography, or the children who compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. It's amazing how intelligent these 8 to 15-year-olds are and fun to see their little ticks and strategies for figuring out the correct answers.

I would also mention that it's amusing to play along and try to see if you know how to spell the words, but I am so bad at that part that's it's not even an option for me. In fourth grade, I was eliminated from our class's Bee by misspelling the world goalkeeper. I am clearly still devastated.
