But seriously, while the stop-motion animation is certainly impressive (if not quite Robot Chicken quality), the plot of tonight's episode actually sounds like it could be pretty entertaining. The Martins are still driving cross-country in their mobile dentist's office, and this time they're in Texas, where they get drawn into a parody of Friday Night Lights and Footloose. John Madden (or a reasonable facsimile) plays himself as a Texas high school football announcer, and a family member joins the team while another takes up the forbidden art of dancing. The clip I saw has a lot of set-up in it, but it could be pretty fun for an otherwise slow Friday night.
