To me, White Collar is like those hats star Matthew Bomer wears as con artist/art thief Neal Caffrey. They're cute and stylish, but ultimately unnecessary. Still, every now and then you want to put one on and gad about town, so I expect that at some point this season I will tune into the show and revel in the cool.
Heck, I may do it tonight, since it's a limited-commercial season premiere, and because it will lead into the series premiere of the new spy show Covert Affairs, which, while also cute and stylish, also looks like it has a lot more martial arts battles. On the other hand, White Collar has Marsha Thomason (Lost), Tiffani Thiessen (Beverly Hills 90210), Willie Garson (Sex and the City), and Natalie Morales (The Middleman), which is a pretty great cast. We won't compare casts with CA, but let's just say Christopher Gorham and Peter Gallagher are gonna have to do a lot of the heavy lifting.
White Collar Season 2 premieres tonight at 9/8C on USA, followed by Covert Affairs.

White Collar also has Tim f***ing DeKay from Carnivale and Tell Me You Love Me, who is definitely no slouch in the acting department. You might have maybe mentioned him in your article, given that he's one of the leads. Just a thought. ;)
Tim and Matt Bomer are fun together and have wonderful chemistry. I can't wait to see the premiere tonight. (After my evening class. Dammit.)
Yeah. White Collar may not be the best show on television, but I'd put it on the same level of Burn Notice for 'really fun show', and to prove my point, when I remembered it was premiering tonight, I flailed so hard I smacked my hand into the wall. And it hurt.
