Yet another Fox show starring Gordon Ramsay based on a show he has in the UK. Seriously... when does this man have time to do all these shows, sleep and run a billion restaurants? It's a mystery. Anyway, on this one he's not going to disgusting restaurants and picking out fuzzy foods from the freezers or calling cocky chefs "donkeys." Instead, he's taking average people who have always wanted to be professional chefs and really giving them the chance to shine.
In tonight's premiere, he teams up with Joe Bastianich (son of Lidia from Lidia's Italian Table), who runs several highly tasty restaurants, and Graham Elliot, who has lots of accolades and a self-titled Chicago restaurant (and who was recently on Top Chef Masters). The three of them will be judging the dishes that wannabe chefs have been cooking in their homes for their families to see if they have the skills to cut it in the business. There are lots of tears and sob stories about getting stuck in dead-end jobs to be had, if that's your cup of tea.
The show debuts tonight at 9 PM on Fox. If nothing else, it is likely more satisfying than watching America's Got Talent.

Wheeeeee! Now I can see the show my overseas family has been alternately ranting and raving about on Facebook. Seriously, anything that causes my mild-mannered aunt to curse on a public forum has GOT to be good!
