It's actually pretty brilliant of VH1 to force these people to pay for their own prize money -- each team had to ante in $10,000, and if they win the whole thing they get the whole pot. If not, they get nothing. It's a new era over there at VH1, where the abuse they inflict on their talent is a whole new level of transparent. I almost appreciate it.

Money Hungry premieres on VH1 tonight at 9 PM, opposite "The most dramatic final rose ceremony in history!" (Trademark: Chris Harrison) on The Bachelorette. Also new tonight: Huge, The Closer and Intervention, but none of those shows have Dan Cortese (Dan Cortese hosts this show, by the way), so, you know, there you go.
