I know what you're thinking: "Since when has TWoP cared about wrestling?" Well, we care when the flagship program of the premiere wrestling organization in the world reaches its 900th episode. That's right, Monday Night Raw is now the longest-running weekly, episodic primetime show in TV history, having been on the air since 1993. It's broadcast in 30 languages in more than 145 countries -- this Boston show actually follows a tour of Japan and China -- and the number of Raw stars who have gone on to have film careers (The Rock, Triple H, Steve Austin, etc.) is pretty impressive. So, credit where credit is due, this scripted sports soap opera is a pretty big deal.
The two-hour episode will feature talent from WWE's other weekly show, SmackDown, as well as their new talent program NXT (basically, a semi-scripted blend of Tough Enough and American Idol), and the main event will be a three-way steel cage match between Randy "The Viper" Orton (a legacy wrestler, and the son of Cowboy Bob Orton), John Cena (star of The Marine, guest-star on Psych) and Sheamus (the current fan-favorite, who is pale and very Irish). The other matches are still under wraps, but you can be guaranteed that there will be appearances by past champions (The Rock has appeared in promos), and most likely a Divas match, featuring the federation's female superstars. We're assuming that they wouldn't sully such a momentous occasion by making it a bra-and-panties match, but we also wouldn't put it past them.
WWE Monday Night Raw's 900th episode airs tonight at 9/8C on USA.

Well, I wouldn't exactly call Seamus a "fan-favourite". He's actually the heel (or "bad guy") in the match. Other than that little nitpick, great promo.
raw is losing its flare the crap that went on with nexus the undertaker and kane sucked and made me change the channel
That was fucking awful. Worst Raw since Katie Vick.
The last match was dissapointing. i cant believe Cena lost bc of Justin Gabriels "450 Splah". I LOVED how orton took 2 out but hated that he couldn't withstand Wade's finishing move =/ that SUCKED.
