As someone who has been watching this show since minute one, I'm curious to see how people react to Jimmy Johnson. Will they vote him out immediately because he doesn't need the cash? Will they keep him around knowing that people won't want to award him money at the end? Will they be awestruck and not consider him an actual player? Will his status as a legendary coach make him the immediate choice for a tribe leader? Will he actually do work and starve himself?

The older vs. younger player thing doesn't interest me quite as much, but it does mean that there will be more than one or two people over 40 and not all just gym bodied twenty somethings, so that's an interesting dynamic. As for it being on Wednesdays, I'm thrilled. Wednesdays are a much lighter day for me, DVR-wise, so this might actually be an improvement. I'm cautiously optimistic about this new season. Go figure.
