Surprisingly, I'm actually enjoying this show. Given that I don't really have any strong attachment to Alex O'Moonlight and don't care for many procedurals/cop shows, this one has been watchable enough to win me over. It's not necessarily on my must-see list, but it's kind of fun. Good cast, they gel well together, and they get to shoot some bad guys in the process.
Hopefully the addition of Taryn Manning (who will be playing McGarrett's sister starting tonight) won't ruin all the good vibes. Also on tonight's episode are Balthazar Getty and D.L. Hughley. That's so many mediocre things in one place, I'm not quite sure I can stand it. This might be an episode I choose not to see, but it is my understanding that some people might like those sorts of things, so if you do, this episode is on. Though next week has Masi Oka, and that I'll be tuning in for. Someone from Lost, Heroes and Battlestar Galactica all in the same place is bound to set off some nerdy seismic shift.
This show airs at 10 PM on CBS. On at the same time is the almost always enjoyable Castle on ABC.

Heroes shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Lost and/or BSG. That's all.
I hate, hate, hate CBS for scheduling this against Castle, and I'm grateful that CBS and ABC put their shows online.
Hawaii Five-0 really picked up it's game during the third episode, and while it's not "must watch while it airs" (like Castle is), it's definitely a "watch the next day when I have the time".
(And although I was a Moonlight fan, most of the devotion comes from the absolute delight that is Scott Caan.)
I'm really enjoying this show too. I still watch Castle live, but I watch my DVR'd H5O right after. Let's hope it stays on more than 5 minutes!
I enjoyed the pilot and thought it showed promise, but when it came to its second week I felt no desire to tune in, despite my original intention to do so. If the show begins to emerge as something special and generate a bit of buzz, I might take another look. One show that has surprised me so far is Nikita. It's not spectacular in any way, but I find myself eager to watch it each week.
I don't think I'd like this show but the amiable animosity between McGarrett and Danny Williams is great. The only thing that would make it better is showing Daniel Dae Kim in a swim suit (or at least shirtless) and Alex O'Loughlin wearing fangs and doing his job at night...
I'll take this any day over Castle. I don't care for "Alex O'Moonlight" either, but the rest of the cast is great, and show is fun. Granted, I don't care about "nerdy seismic shift"s (I think geek fans are on their way to becoming as annoying as shippers), I just want a good show, regardless of the actors past history as far as what show they were on.
