In what I'm sure will be another pick-me-up episode (last week's was particularly cheerful), tonight everyone tells Charlotte what she should do about her rape. Clearly she is going to react well to this, considering that last week she was all up in arms because people had the nerve to look at her. Not saying that she doesn't have the right to be all pissy with her well-meaning, if misguided friends/coworkers, but I just imagine that she'll be less than happy about their meddling.

I'm not entirely sure how I missed this show last season, given that I love watching shows about tattoos and motorcycles, but it is back. And you can bet I've already set my DVR for it.

It's amazing how a show about genuinely nice people with good intentions who don't absurdly over-react to situations can be so enjoyable. No murders, no catfights, no hit-and-runs, no annoyingly cute child actors... just good, solid acting and believable, relatable storylines. It's refreshing, is what it is. Curse you, family drama, for being so engaging and appealing! Hell, it's even made me like Monica Potter, and I didn't think that was possible.

You might not be up to watching The Big C so soon after last week's shocker and the loss of one of the show's two strongest characters (good luck, Sean -- you've gotta carry this whole thing on your own now), but tonight is the season finale, and thus required viewing if you want to find out whether or not Cathy will live on to Season 2.

So this show is on. Given that it's produced by Mark Burnett Productions, and they've been showing some very pretty scenic views and wildlife on Survivor for the past hundred years or so, this will probably look lovely... regardless of your political views. I personally am not sure I care exactly how Sarah Palin spends her time in the north, but if that's your cup of tea, here you go. And maybe there will be whales or polar bears.

This season hasn't been quite as salacious as this summer's Burning Point, what with the lack of twincest and the cops at school being buzzkills and all. It's like they don't want the school to be fun anymore. Where's the goofball Snake I used to know and love? Anyway, the show is still inexplicably addictive for me, and they've recently tackled everything from being a pregnant teen on an Idol-esque show, to tasering your friends, to hoarding, so I'll keep watching, no matter that few of the faces are at all familiar.

When last we saw Michael, he'd just been shot by his erstwhile partner, Jesse. Whether Jesse did it to save Michael (he killed the guy who was trying to kidnap him) or whether he did it because Michael is a lying liar who burns people, costing them their jobs and their lives, we don't know, but can't it be both? Now Michael is in the hospital, pretty banged up, and about to get emotionally banged up by a recuperative stay at mom's house. Prognosis: negative.

There are like 97 country music awards ceremonies on TV every year, and they all seem to be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, so if you're confused about which one this is you're... probably going to stay that way. But I can definitely confirm that this one of them, so at least that part's not murky.

Tonight The Fashion Show returns and it appears to have gotten a bit of a facelift between seasons. First of all, Iman is the new host and Kelly "I'm Not Beyonce But I Was Still in Destiny's Child" Rowland is gone. Isaac is still there, so there's that.

VH1 has decided to take advantage of Jersey Shore being off the air by airing their own Jersey-centric show, but this one is all about brides and grooms. It's mostly Bridezillas, but with a lot of Jersey flair thrown into the mix. And, well, there are some truly special characters on there.
