Not to be mistaken with Travel Channel's Food Wars (which it essentially is, except with one judge and episodes covering two cities), Food Feuds exposes which well-known local establishment specializing in a particular food favorite can truly be considered the best in the city. Or at least in terms of Michael Symon's taste buds (and as an Iron Chef, I think we kinda have to trust him on this). Tonight's episode features a gooey butter cake battle between Park Ave. Coffee and Gooey Louie's in St. Louis, Missouri to see which of the old family recipes will prevail as the winner. Then, Symon heads back to his home state of Ohio to settle an old-fashioned chocolate chip ice cream rivalry between Graeter's and Aglamesis in Cincinnati. Traveling to different cities and eating lots of cake and ice cream... what a tough job that must be for him.
