Yes, I'm officially addicted to yet another teen drama... but I swear this one is good! It's way more entertaining and engaging than Desperate Housewives, has far less Vanessa than Gossip Girl, is filled with random TV stars from the '90s, and the girls and guys are super attractive. There's something for everyone. If you haven't been watching, the second half of the first season (yes, ABC Family always makes everything so complicated) starts up again tonight at 7:58 PM (presumably just to wreak havoc on my DVR's very little brain).
The gist of the show is that four friends are reunited a year after their fifth friend, Alison, went missing. They all start getting random, and threatening, text messages from someone named "A", even though Alison's body turns up under a gazebo. So who is sending these messages that have secrets only Ali knew? And who killed Ali and why? We still don't know, and though we got close in the summer finale, a pesky car caused an accident, so we're stuck with nothing. But while the mysteries and the murder might have been why I tuned in originally, it's the backstabbing, ridiculous relationships and insane fashions that keep me coming back.
Catch up on the show with our weecaps, and watch the new episodes tonight starting promptly at 7:58 PM on ABC Family.

OMG, I'm blaming YOU for this. I was ignoring this show and then you did weecaps and now? I'm addicted! I'm 38 freakin' years old and this show is awesomesauce. I can't beleive ABC Family lets some of the content through but...I'm glad they do.
I remember when I used to come to this site to get the best TV snark on the web. TwoP used to set the standard on cool. Now I come here, and there's nothing but a million recaps of a pathetic kids' show written by the least funny people with no sense of irony whatsoever. It's like you WANTED to ruin this. Why do you hate the old, good TwoP so much?
I have to agree, at least for the most part. The funny people who founded the site are nowhere to be found these days, and new content seems to mean "lame, uninspired, unfunny Top 10 list." The sad part is, they actually have funny writers under their employ, but they're not getting much to do. Aside from the recappers that are actually still funny, there's little to set this site apart from the other entertainment sites out there.
I still enjoy the message boards, but the actual site needs another overhaul, hopefully one that will make it unique, snarky, and funny again. It's sad to see how this site has been run into the ground over the past 3-4 years.
