Sunday, March 13, 2011: Sister Wives

After (allegedly) fleeing prosecution in Utah and relocating to the suburbs of Las Vegas, the Sister Wives Brown family of 21 returns to television tonight. Are they still barely hiding their hatred of Robyn? Will they ever explain how they afford their massive amounts of children? Will the law hunt them down across state lines? Do Kody's bangs still look like that? Oh, the mysteries of Season 2!

This season should also take on a new layer of the family reacting to and being aware of their new found fame. Hopefully the show won't make some strange decision to have them all pretend it's not happening, like Jersey Shore did. TLC characters usually acknowledge that they're on a TV show, but I get the feeling that Sister Wives pretends a lot of things in the characters' lives aren't happening, so I wouldn't put it past them. Either way, step right up -- the TLC freak show is rolling back into town.

Sister Wives premieres on TLC tonight at 9 PM, opposite Big Love (HBO) (polygamy cage match!), The Celebrity Apprentice (NBC) and Californication (Showtime).

Can you be any more judgemental than that? This show is great. I love the fact that they have so much love and so much to give. You assume that they "pretend", but you just can't understand, so then, they much "pretend". There is nothing wrong with this lifestyle, it is open, honest and full of love. I would not choose it myself, but more often than not, a man lives this lifestyle and is not for the reasons that are full of love. You need to keep your shortsighted views to yourself.

I love the show and I love the whole family. People have to learn not to judge others and be supportive to what other people choose to want/desire. I believe that they all did nothing wrong and I hope their family continues to grow.

Why is society so judgmental? Just like homosexality has to be hidden in he closet so do polygamist families, Why? Why don't society mind their own business and let people live their lives. They are happy and raising their children to be good productive members of society so who cares that Kody has four wives. Mind your own business. I love this show and I take my hat off to all of them.

GO TEAM SISTER WIVES!

I just wanted to say that the love that your whole family has for one another is very contagious. You are all amazing people and you raise your children with all the love you have to give. You instill get family values as well as great godly values in them. They all seem very happy and know nothing of being “step” sisters or brothers. You are all one big family and the things you are doing are to be commended, not condemned. What give people the right to decide how many wives or husbands you can have? I believe that you live life the way you see fit and you raise your children in the best way that you know how. No one tells you how to raise your children, why should they tell you who you can and cannot love? Although I am not a polygamist, I am truly inspired by your family and the leap of faith you all have taken. I believe that god will catch you all safe in his arms. Disregard all the negativity that surrounds you and embrace the people across the entire world who have fallen in love with you and your family. I know that I personally do not know you, but I feel if we ever met, I would embrace you like I have known you all of my life! I hope this post finds you all well and I hope it reinforces how much of a positive impact you are having on this world.

Are you serious??? How can anyone justify making one human worth 1/4th? It is such a calculated, manipulative lifestyle. True love can only be when 2 people love and trust each other. It is human nature stupid people. We are NOT made/evolved to be in love/relationships with multiple people. And to think some groups judge gays so much. Why haven't religious groups come out against this practice? Hypocrites

Who are we to judge? It's no different if your husband/wife was out there cheating on you and you knowing about it and allowing it. (which happens everyday in this society) I am looking at the people at this point....which I am liking. If this is their belief, so be it. Everyone believes different things and that is what makes the world go around. As long as they don't try to push polygamist...then I am fine with it. I really like watching the show! Please let them live in peace as they once have.
