Monday, April 25, 2011: RuPaul's Drag Race Season Finale

Start your engines! May the best drag queen win. Are you rooting for Raja, Alexis Mateo or Manila? Tonight will be the Season Finale of RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3. With fierce competition, we'll see if Raja's style, Alexis' grace, or Manila's catty humor will win the coveted title of America's Next Drag Superstar.

Our top three contestants are some of the fiercest competitors Drag Race has seen. This season, they've learned how to make outfits out of wigs, lip-synch for their lives and design drag cakes. Each opponent is more outrageous than the next. The leggy Raja's outfits have been top-notch, but does she have the personality? Manila is versatile and zany enough to be a top drag personality, but does she rely too heavily on the Asian stereotypes? Underdog Alexis Mateo has the biggest heart (her Support Our Troops video? Heartbreaking), but will she keep relying on her fake boobs? Tune in tonight to know once and for all who is America's Next Drag Superstar!

RuPaul's Drag Race's Season 3 Finale airs on LOGO tonight at 10 PM opposite a new episode of Law & Order: Los Angeles (NBC) and a new episode of Bethenny Ever After (Bravo).

I don't know if I'd say Alexis has the most heart. She could be pretty catty when she wanted to be, and while her commercial for the troops was moving (and wildly entertaining -- her best moment of the season BY FAR), at other points in the competition she came off as extremely whiny and unlikable. But she can lipsynch like motherf**ker.

I'm firmly on Team Raja -- have been since Episode 1 -- and disagree that she lacks "personality." She's just uber-cool, but still knows how to be fun and campy. She is just leagues above the rest of the competition in terms of her visual presentation every week.

I would also be totally fine with Manila winning. She backed way off the Asian stereotypes after the "Snatch Game" (although she brought back the Dragon Lady look for the jocks episode), and since then has won at least two challenges. She and Raja have been the obvious contenders since the very beginning, I think.

All in all, the best Top 3 this show has ever seen. Kind of funny when you consider how much chaff there was filling out the rest of the queens this season.

I'm part of a group of Houston legal professionals whose guilty pleasure is the Drag Race. We are solidly on Team Raja!

Alexis Mateo all day long, all day strong. I'm sick of that hag, Raja! And, Manila's brows look too Cruella DeVille. I want Alexis to win!
