BLOGS
The Time Lord and his companions are back for another season tonight. However, unlike in years past, the BBC has finally realized that the Americans willing to geek out over a British show targeted at children around the age of twelve are the same Americans who know how to use a torrent, so this season of Doctor Who is airing on BBC America within hours of it being broadcast on BBC One. This coup comes at a great time considering this season looks to be full of plot twists that would be difficult to spend months hiding from. Instead we just have to spend the day away from Twitter. Even this short wait might be hard, especially with Rory becoming a full time companion (in the opening titles and everything), River getting more screen time, and Neil Gaiman writing an episode.
Tonight's episode probably isn't for Who newbies since it is going to be featuring a threat to the Doctor whom we have never met before but was talked about in passing for the entire last season. Then again, like Lost, if you have friends who don't mind you pausing the DVR every few minutes to ask, "What does that mean?" or "Why is that so funny?" then you are probably set. Or you could just watch all of last season which will be running all day before tonight's new season begins.
Learn just why bow ties and stetsons are cool tonight at 9 on BBC America.

I saw the first two episodes at an event this past Tuesday. They're mind-blowing in quality and concept. And the threat mentioned last season is creepy and -- a staple of Moffat creations -- has a quirky gimmick. If you've never seen the show? START. WATCHING. NOW. Dammit, there's a marathon of last season on BBC America as I type this, and it's followed by an hour's worth of recapping before the premiere, in case you missed anything.
Ab fab my godloy man.
Ppl like you get all the brains. I just get to say tahkns for he answer.
