Wednesday, April 6, 2011: Off the Map

Off the Map's first season ends tonight, and you better watch this guilty pleasure while you can, because it's pretty certain that this show will not have a second season. Shonda's still rich, but it's sad for the actors, some of whom are actually pretty great. And it's sad for Valerie Cruz too.

Tonight marks holy week in the unnamed nation these doctors without borders inhabit, and, of course, there is a parade float accident that results in mass casualties. You'll never believe this, but the doctors are going to have to treat gruesome injuries using less than state of the art medical facilities tonight. I know, it's crazy.

Off the Map ends tonight at 10 PM on ABC, opposite the Top Chef reunion (Bravo), Justified (FX) and The Real World (MTV).

I just wanted to say that at first I was not sure what to expect from Off the Map, but after watching it I started to want to watch it every week. It is a really good show, and I hope that it continues with more seasons.

I look forward to watching Off the Map each and every week and I hope it comes back with a season 2. It would be a shame to end it after only 1 season.

Good Quality Drama is very hard to find and Off The Map has it all. It is a fantastic show, everyone involved in the production of this show deserves the chance of a second season, to prove that this show can and will pull it's weight in ratings. How can anyone make a definitive decision based on 13 episodes in a piss poor time slot is beyond me.
Please ABC give Off The Map the opportunity to prove to you that keeping this show on the schedule is a good business decision.
