Monday, May 16, 2011: How I Met Your Mother

It's the How I Met Your Mother season finale, and it's taking place at the long-teased mysterious wedding attended by The Mother! Surely, Ted will meet her tonight and ask her out and we can all stop complaining about how long this is taking, right? Because believe it or not, I'd love to stop bitching about it. Really. Just give me the chance. Please.

In other storylines, Barney and Robin bond at the wedding, until the return of Nora (why?) complicates things, and Marshall and Lily face a countdown to possible food poisoning that actually sounds pretty funny. But again, all this is secondary to the fact that this is the episode with The Wedding and The Mother. Let's get this done, show.

How I Met Your Mother airs on CBS tonight at 8 PM, opposite Dancing with the Stars (ABC), Chuck (NBC), House (Fox) and 90210 (The CW).
