After a break during May sweeps (ABC ran reruns of Dancing With the Stars instead), Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution returns tonight. In his quest for a healthier America, Oliver promised his show would attack problems of obesity, heart disease and diabetes in the country -- particularly because the children of this current generation are the first not expected to live as long as their parents. Dark. Anyway, in this season, Oliver and his team travel to Los Angeles to tackle the aforementioned health problems.
While I don't personally have any permanent body art emblazoned on my body, I am fascinated by the art of tattooing and the plethora of shows about it. My addiction to this subgenre of programming is mostly courtesy of Miami Ink, so when I heard that the star of Miami was going to be headlining a new show on TLC, I pretty much set my season pass sight unseen.
Zack Morris is back on TV! And he's naked (again!)
Franklin & Bash, a new buddy comedy starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer, premieres tonight on TNT. The two play young, unconventional lawyers who claim they "make the law" instead of following it. Apparently "making the law" means playing Wii while working, getting witnesses to strip while on the stand, starting fights outside of courtrooms to create diversions, bringing karaoke machines into the office... you get the picture. They're rebel lawyers with a cause!
